People and animals mutated by the contaminated water. They roam in hordes, go for noise and electricity, and scatter when hit or when the guns come out. Every Jolted has one swollen pustule on its back that takes double damage.
The horde itself. Slow, hungry and not very bright. Electricity overcharges them, and one good hit on the back pustule goes a long way.
Frail, and easy to lose in a crowd until you spot the glowing green growth above its head. It heals and strengthens the Jolted around it, so it is worth dropping first.
Rare, about eight feet tall and crowned with tumour horns. Its shock slam knocks back and staggers everything caught in it, friend or foe.
No wings. It keeps itself airborne on jets of goo and can electrify the rails you are riding.
Hunts in packs and works to surround you rather than coming at you head on.
Two storeys of fused Jolted with several mouths. It swings a smaller Jolted as a club and eats others nearby to heal. Its faces are the weak points.
Mirror-plated. Ordinary fire only chips it; a Flow-charged hit cracks it. A light variant can chase you along the rails.
Pigeon swarms, oversized cats and solo rat-beasts. Not all of the Jolted were people.
White, chrome and on-brand. Most of what Cleanline sends at you is hardware, and most of it is built to break your rhythm rather than just hurt you.
Never fires a shot. It locks a recording beam onto a fight and buffs every unit in it. Break its line of sight or shoot it down and the buff goes with it.
Fast, fragile and harmless on its own. It erases the rails you rely on, and when it is nearly finished it tries to take you with it.
Slow to turn, with a net launcher that lights up before it fires. Get caught and your Flow chain is over.
Stands behind an energy barrier that has to be worn down before any damage gets through.
A tracked juggernaut. It plants itself, winds up, and sweeps a wide arc out of its front.
A heavily augmented human. Blades up close, a wrist cannon at range, and it switches between them depending on where you are.
Small, boxy and armed. It spreads Cleanline's message through the streets and shoots if you have a weapon out.
Scavengers with more money behind them than a scavenger crew should have, fighting for ground.
The Dogs' rank and file. Fought in numbers.
Picks you off from a distance, and does not like to stay in one place.
Fast, close up and hits hard.
Cloaked until it strikes. Watch for the shimmer and listen for the whirr.
A plain old Junkyard Dog in a motorcycle helmet with a crossbow, promoted to "boss" for your first boss arena. He is very proud of this.
Leftovers from the company that started all this. Nobody told them it closed.
